2021 Germany Tri-Nation Series
The 2021 Germany Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that took place in Germany between 5 and 8 August 2021. It was originally due to be played in May 2021, but was postponed due to a new lockdown in Germany caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The participating teams were the hosts Germany national cricket team, Germany, along with France national cricket team, France and Norway national cricket team, Norway. Spain national cricket team, Spain were also scheduled to participate in a quadrangular event, but withdrew on 28 July due to COVID-19-related travel restrictions. The matches were all played at the Bayer Uerdingen Cricket Ground, part of the German Cricket Federation's National Performance Centre in the city of Krefeld. Venkatraman Ganesan
Venkatraman Ganesan (born 21 May 1985) is an Indian-born German cricketer, and the captain of the Germany national cricket team, Germany cricket team. Biography He was named in Germany's squad for the 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five tournament in South Africa. He has represented Tamil Nadu cricket team at age group levels and Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) first division. He played an important role in Germany winning its last two games on 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five tournament and got Man of the match in both the games he played. In May 2019, he was named in Germany's Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for their German cricket team in Belgium in 2019, three-match series against Belgium. The matches were the first T20Is to be played by the German cricket team. He made his T20I debut for Germany against Belgium national cricket team, Belgium on 11 May 2019.
