2020 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup
The 2020 Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup was a series of races in Olympic Cross-Country (XCO), Cross-Country Eliminator (XCE), and Downhill (DHI). Each discipline had an Elite Men and an Elite Women category. There were also under-23 categories in the XCO and junior categories in the DHI. The cross-country series had two rounds and the downhill series four rounds. Cross-country UCI decided to not award World Cup standings points as just two races were run. The 2019 Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup was a series of races in Olympic Cross-Country (XCO), Cross-Country Eliminator (XCE), and Downhill (DHI). Haley Batten
Haley Batten (born September 19, 1998) is an American cross-country and mountain bike cyclist. From Park City, Utah, Batten studied at Quest University, Canada. Batten won national titles as a junior and another at U23 level, and won a U23 World Cup, and was part of the USA team relay at the 2019 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships where they earned a silver medal in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada. Batten rode for the Clif Pro Team from 2016 to 2019 and Specialized Racing for 2020, and Trinity Racing in 2021. Batten rode to a third-place finish at her first elite World Cup XCO race in Albstadt, Germany. Thomas Pidcock (born 30 July 1999) is a British cyclist who currently competes in the cyclo-cross, mountain bike and road bicycle racing disciplines of the sport for UCI WorldTeam . Nino Schurter (born 13 May 1986) is a Swiss cross-country cyclist who races for the SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing Team.
