2020 ADAC GT4 Germany
The 2020 ADAC GT4 Germany season is the second season of the ADAC GT4 Germany, a sports car championship created and organised by the ADAC. The season will begin on 15 August at the Nürburgring and will end on 29 September at Oschersleben after six double-header meetings. Dennis Marschall
Dennis Marschall (born 15 August 1996) is a German racing driver who currently competes in the ADAC GT Masters. Career Early career Marschall began his racing career in karting at the age of 11, competing until 2013. He spent most of his karting career in the ADAC Kart Masters series, finishing as high as second in the KF3 class in 2010. In 2014, he stepped into single-seater racing, competing in the ADAC Formel Masters series for the Lotus-branded Motopark Academy team. Marschall would finish sixth in his opening season in the series with three race victories to his credit; one at EuroSpeedway Lausitz in May alongside a pair of victories at the Hockenheimring to close the season. Sports car racing 2015 saw Marschall leave the single-seater ranks after just one season, electing to compete in the opening season of the Audi Sport TT Cup. Augusto Farfus Jr. (born 3 September 1983) is a Brazilian professional racing driver, and BMW Motorsport works driver. He lives in Monaco. Early years Born in Curitiba, Farfus first tasted racing in minibike races and won the local championships in 1991. Like many drivers, his motorsport career began with karting. In 1992, at the age of 9 years, he won the Paraná state championship (cadet class), and mainly competed in São Paulo states championship from 1993 to 1998. Mike David Ortmann (born 26 October 1999 in Brandenburg) is a German racing driver. Career Karting Ortmann began karting in 2010 at the age of eleven, competing in championships across Germany and taking titles in the championship at East Saxon State and the East German ADAC Kart Cup in 2012. Pierre Kaffer (born 7 November 1976 in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate) is a race car driver from Germany, currently living in Switzerland. Career In 1990, Kaffer started in Karting, moving in 1994 to Formula Ford, later Formula Opel and then from 1997 to 2001 in the German Formula 3 Championship. Sheldon van der Linde (born 13 May 1999) is a South African motor racing driver. He has been competing in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters since 2019 and is currently the DTM champion, after winning his maiden title in 2022. Career van der Linde begun his motorsport career at the age of six, racing karts in his native South Africa. He would go on to win multiple national titles before making the transition to racing cars in 2014. In his first season of car racing, van der Linde won the South Africa Polo Cup Championship in dominant fashion. He would go on to win the Volkswagen Cup South Africa the following year. Jesse Kurki-Suonio (born 3 September 1990), more commonly known as Jesse Krohn, is a Finnish professional racing driver, and BMW Motorsport works driver. Nicholas Jon Yelloly (born 3 December 1990 in Stafford, England) is a British professional racing driver, and BMW Motorsport works driver. Joel Eriksson (born 28 June 1998) is a Swedish racing driver who last competed in the 2021 ADAC GT Masters with KÜS Team Bernhard. Career Karting Eriksson began his karting career in 2007. He remained in karting until 2014. Formula 4 In 2014, Eriksson made his debut in open-wheel racing in the ADAC Formel Masters. BMW M6
The BMW M6 is a high-performance version of the 6 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand from 1983 to 2018 (with a break from 1990 to 2004). Introduced in the coupe body style, the M6 was also built in convertible and fastback sedan ('Gran Coupe') body styles for later generations. Schubert Motorsport is a private motorsport team founded and owned by team principal and European Autocross champion Torsten Schubert, and headquartered in Oschersleben, Germany (near the Motorsport Arena). The team has operated as a BMW privateer since its inception in 1999 (except in 2018), with plenty of success, and has specialised in endurance racing since 2004.
