2019 UAE Tour
The 2019 UAE Tour was a road cycling stage race, that took place between 24 February and 2 March 2019 in the United Arab Emirates. It was the first edition of the UAE Tour and the third race of the 2019 UCI World Tour. Teams Twenty teams started the race. 2019 UCI World Tour
The 2019 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included thirty-eight road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2019 in men's road cycling, 2019 men's cycling season. It was the first time since the World Tour was launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2009 that it was not a ranking competition in its own right. The tour started with the opening stage of the 2019 Tour Down Under, Tour Down Under on 15 January and concluded with the final stage of the 2019 Tour of Guangxi, Tour of Guangxi on 22 October. Events The 2019 calendar was initially announced in June 2018, with the Abu Dhabi Tour being replaced with the UAE Tour, following its merger with the Dubai Tour. Al Ain ( ar, ٱلْعَيْن, , ) is a city in the western side of Tuwwam region and the seat of the administrative division of its namesake, Al Ain in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Dubai Safari Park
Dubai Safari Park ( ar, دُبَي سَفَارِي بارك, Dubai Safari Park) is an eco-friendly safari park located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The park's major source of energy is solar energy. The Park is located on Al Warqa 5 on the Hatta Road. The park has 3000 animals from more than 250 species. The park replaced the Dubai Zoo on its 50th anniversary. The park plans to increase the animal number to 5000 by 2020. On May 15, 2018, the Park closed for renovations and improvements until being reopened in October 2020. History The old Dubai zoo was replaced by Dubai Safari Park when It only had a collection of 1000 animals. The park consists of 12.8 Million square feet of area. Jebel Jais
Jebel Jais ( ar, جَبَل جَيْس, Jabal Jays) is a mountain of the North- Western Hajar range in the Musandam Governorate of Oman and also in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The summit has an elevation of . The summit is located on the Omani side, but a high point west of this peak is considered the highest point in the United Arab Emirates, at above sea level, and with around 10m of prominence. Khor Fakkan
Khor Fakkan ( ar, خَوْر فَكَّان, Khawr Fakkān) is a city and exclave of the Emirate of Sharjah, located on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), facing the Gulf of Oman, and geographically surrounded by the Emirate of Fujairah. Caleb Ewan (born 11 July 1994) is an Australian road and track bicycle racer who rides for UCI WorldTeam . A sprinter, Ewan has a style similar to that of Mark Cavendish, taking an extremely low position that offers him an aerodynamic advantage. Biography Caleb Ewan was born in New South Wales to a Korean mother and Australian father. At the age of eight he started bicycle racing, inspired by his father, who was also a competitive cyclist.
