Kuwaiti Premier League
The Kuwait Premier League (), known as STC Premier League due to sponsorship reasons, is the top division of the Kuwait football pyramid system. Formed in 1961, Al-Arabi, Qadsia and Kuwait both hold the best record in the competition, having won 17 times. History The Kuwaiti league officially began in the 1961/62 season, after playing unofficially for eight years (played with group of clubs: "Ahli - Al Jazeera - Arabism - Gulf - Solidarity - Al-Qubali, Al-Nahda, Al-Sharqai, Al-Merqab, Al-Mawalim and Al-Taawon). National companies and ministries were club's first sponsors. 1960s In the 1961/1962 season, several new clubs joined (Al-Arabi, Qadsia, Kuwait SC, Kifan High School, Shuwaikh Secondary School, Industrial College and Police Team). Ali Maqseed
Ali Maqseed ( ar, علي مقصيد) is a Kuwaiti football midfielder. He plays left back or left wing with many other positions for Al Arabi SC in VIVA Premier League and the Kuwait national football team. Ali first joined the first-team when he was 18 years old. Maqseed is well known for his talented dribbling and speed, due to that he is nicknamed "Al-Janah Al-Ta'ier" (The Flying Wing). Ali Himself has rejected all offers from other clubs around the world staying loyal for his club. Ali started playing for the Kuwait national football team in 2008, but initially he never got to play a lot. Ali played for Al-Arabi in the 2007 AFC Champions League group stage. Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium
The Al-Sadaqua Walsalam Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Adiliya Kuwait City, Kuwait. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 21,500. It is the 2nd largest stadium in Kuwait. The Stadium hosted many finals for the Kuwait Emir Cup and Kuwait Crown Cup. Salmiya (Arabic السالمية; transliterated As-Sālmīya(h)) is a city in Hawalli Governorate in Kuwait. Salmiya is administratively divided into 12 blocks.
