The 2017–18 season was Inter Milan, Football Club Internazionale Milano's 109th in existence and 102nd consecutive season in the top flight of Football in Italy, Italian football. The side competed only in domestic tournaments; 2017–18 Serie A, Serie A and the Coppa Italia. On 20 May 2018, the final game of the season, Inter beat S.S. Lazio, Lazio 3–2 at the Stadio Olimpico to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in six seasons. Football Club Internazionale Milano, commonly referred to as Internazionale () or simply Inter, and colloquially known as Inter Milan in English-speaking countries, is an Italian professional football club based in Milan, Lombardy. Inter is the only Italian side to have always competed in the top flight of Italian football since its debut in 1909. Founded in 1908 following a schism within the Milan Cricket and Football Club (now AC Milan), Inter won its first championship in 1910.
