Cactus Bowl
The Guaranteed Rate Bowl is an annual college football bowl game that has been played in the state of Arizona since 1989. Played as the Copper Bowl from inception through 1996, it was known as the Insight.com Bowl from 1997 through 2001, then the Insight Bowl from 2002 through 2011, the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl for 2012 and 2013, and the Cactus Bowl for the 2014 through 2017 seasons. It was played on December 3, 2011, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, to determine the 2011 champion of the Big Ten Conference. Trevone Dequan Boykin (born August 22, 1993) is an American football quarterback for Galgos de Tijuana of the Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA). He played college football at Texas Christian University (TCU) and was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2016. Casey Pachall (born November 14, 1990) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football for the Horned Frogs of Texas Christian University. Early years Pachall attended Brownwood High School in Brownwood, Texas. He took over the role as Brownwood's quarterback when Shelby Miller suffered a staph infection. When Miller returned, he did so as a wide receiver. As a senior, he passed for 2,808 yards with 31 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. College career After being redshirted as a freshman in 2009, Pachall spent 2010 as Andy Dalton's backup. The 2012–13 NCAA football bowl games were a series of college football bowl games. They concluded the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season, and included 35 team-competitive games and four all-star games. The games began on Saturday December 15, 2012 and, aside from the all-star games, concluded with the 2013 BCS National Championship Game in Miami Gardens, Florida that was played on January 7, 2013.
