2011 NHL Premiere
The 2011 NHL Premiere was the National Hockey League's fifth European multi-game event to open the regular season, featuring the Anaheim Ducks, the Buffalo Sabres, the Los Angeles Kings and the New York Rangers. It took place on October 7–8, 2011, to open the 2011–12 NHL season. Preceding this, as with previous Premiere events, the NHL teams participated in a series of exhibition games with European teams as part of the 2011 NHL Premiere Challenge, between September 29 and October 4, 2011. Michael Del Zotto
Michael Del Zotto (born June 24, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted in the first round, 20th overall, by the New York Rangers at the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. He has previously played in the NHL for the Rangers, Nashville Predators, Philadelphia Flyers, Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks, St. Louis Blues, Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Ottawa Senators. Kris Newbury
Kris Newbury (born February 19, 1982) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing with the Hamilton Steelhawks in the Allan Cup Hockey (ACH). Playing career Newbury played in the Ontario Hockey League for the Belleville Bulls, and later the Sarnia Sting with whom he would achieve two seasons of 104 and 92 points, in 2001–02 and 2002–03, respectively. Newbury scored his first goal while a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs on January 1, 2007, against Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas. Frölunda Hockey Club, previously known as the Frölunda Indians, is a Swedish professional ice hockey club based in Gothenburg. They currently play in the highest Swedish league, the Swedish Hockey League (SHL), formerly the Elitserien, where they have played for most of the club's existence. Scandinavium () is an indoor arena located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Construction on Scandinavium began in 1969 after decades of setbacks, and was inaugurated on 18 May 1971. Petr Tenkrát (born 31 May 1977) is a Czech former ice hockey forward who played in the National Hockey League for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Nashville Predators and the Boston Bruins. Playing career He won SM-Liiga-silver in 2003 and bronze in 2006. SM-gold in 2004 and 2005. Tenkrát's contract with Kärpät ended after the season 2005–06. Brandon Raymond James Prust (born March 16, 1984) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger.
