2010–11 In Romanian Football
The 2010–11 season in Romanian football was held between the summer of 2010 and the summer of 2011. The first division consisted of 18 teams, with CFR Cluj as the defending champions. The men's national team started the UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying campaign in Group D, along with France, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Luxembourg. Domestic leagues In Liga I, Oţelul Galaţi won the title for the first time in their history and qualified into the group stage of the 2011–12 UEFA Champions League. Runners-up came Timișoara, while the third placed were Vaslui. However, at the end of the season Timișoara were being relegated for accumulated debt and by this not allowed to play in the qualifying round of the Champions League, by the Romanian Football Federation. FC Olt Slatina (2009)
Clubul Sportiv Municipal Slatina (), commonly known as CSM Slatina or simply Slatina, is a Romanian football club based in Slatina, Olt County, which competes in the Liga II. The club was founded in 2009 as CSM Slatina, quickly obtaining two consecutive promotions to reach the Liga II in 2011. That summer, it merged with FC Piatra Olt and moved from Slatina to Piatra Olt, also changing its name to ''FC Olt Slatina''. At the end of its debut season in the second league, ''FC Olt'' was relegated, but then merged again with another club from Slatina, Alro Slatina. Technically, the new entity was a continuation of Alro Slatina, but with the name of FC Olt Slatina, whereas the original ''FC Olt Slatina''—or the former CSM Slatina—was dissolved. The former Alro Slatina was also dissolved four years later. 2010–11 Liga III
The 2010–11 Liga III season was the 55th season of the Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season started on August 27, 2010 and ended on June 3, 2011. The winners of each series promoted to the 2011–12 Liga II. The bottom three from each division relegated at the end of the season to the county football leagues (Liga IV). From the 13th placed teams, another three were relegated. To determine this teams, separate standings were computed, using only the games played against clubs ranked 1st through 12th. Fotbal Club Bihor Oradea (), commonly known as Bihor Oradea or simply as FC Bihor, was a Romanian professional football club based in Oradea, Bihor County. It was founded under the name of ''Crișul Oradea'' in April 1958 and from 1963 it continued the football tradition of the city, following the dissolution of Club Atletic Oradea.
