2010 PTT Pattaya Open
The 2010 PTT Pattaya Open was a women's professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 19th edition of the PTT Pattaya Open (formerly known as the ''Pattaya Women's Open'') and was part of the International category on the 2010 WTA Tour. It took place at Dusit Thani Hotel in Pattaya, Thailand from 7 February through 14 February 2010. The top two seeds were the defending champion Vera Zvonareva, Wimbledon quarterfinalist Sabine Lisicki. Vera Dushevina, 2007 champion Sybille Bammer and home favourite Tamarine Tanasugarn competed too. WTA International Tournaments
The WTA International Tournaments was a category for professional tennis tournaments of the Women's Tennis Association from the 2009 WTA Tour until 2020, which replaced the previous Tier III and Tier IV categories. The winner of a WTA International adds 280 points to her WTA ranking. For the 2020 season, there were 32 tournaments, all knock-out tournaments with a prize money for every event at $275,000 ($775,000 for Shenzhen, and $525,000 for Guangzhou and Hong Kong). Yaroslava Shvedova
Yaroslava Vyacheslavovna Shvedova (; born 12 September 1987) is a Kazakhstani former professional tennis player. Before 2008, she represented her country of birth, Russia. She won one singles title and 13 doubles titles on the WTA Tour, plus one singles and one doubles title on WTA 125 tournaments, as well as four singles and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Ksenia Yuryevna Pervak (russian: Ксения Юрьевна Первак; born 27 May 1991) is a retired tennis player from Russia. Pervak won one singles title on the WTA Tour, as well as nine singles and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. On 19 September 2011, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 37. On 30 January 2012, she peaked at No. 123 in the doubles rankings. Pervak won the 2009 Australian Open girls' singles title, defeating Laura Robson in straight sets in the final. In November 2015, she announced her retirement from professional tennis due to chronic injuries. Anna Chakvetadze
Anna Djambuliovna Chakvetadze ( ; born 5 March 1987) is a Russian former professional tennis player. In her career, Chakvetadze won eight WTA Tour singles titles, the biggest being the 2006 Kremlin Cup. She booked her highest singles ranking of world No. 5 in September 2007, after reaching the US Open semifinals. She also made the quarterfinals of the Australian Open and French Open that same year. Sacha Hughes (née Jones; born 8 November 1990) is the current New Zealand Fed Cup captain, appointed May 2019. Suchanun Viratprasert ( th, สุชานัน วิรัชประเสริฐ; born 1 January 1983) is a Thai former professional tennis player. Her career-high singles ranking is 172, which she reached in August 2004. Noppawan "Nok" Lertcheewakarn ( th, นพวรรณ เลิศชีวกานต์; born 18 November 1991) is a former professional Thai tennis player. At 2009 Wimbledon Championships, she won the 2009 Wimbledon Championships – Girls' singles, junior singles title. She reached career-high WTA rankings of 149 in singles and 97 in doubles.
