2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
The 2006 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series was the twelfth season of the Craftsman Truck Series, the third highest stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. It was contested over twenty-five races, beginning with the GM Flex Fuel 250 at Daytona International Speedway and ending with the Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. List Of NASCAR Truck Series Champions
The NASCAR Truck Series Drivers' Championship is awarded by the chairman of NASCAR to the most successful NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racing car driver over a season, as determined by a points system based on race results. The Drivers' Championship was first awarded in 1995 to Mike Skinner. The first driver to win multiple Championships was Ron Hornaday Jr., in 1996 and 1998. The most recent Drivers' Champion is Zane Smith who won his first championship in 2022. Overall, Nineteen different drivers have won the Championship, with Ron Hornaday Jr. holding the record for most titles at four. Crafton has the record for most consecutive Drivers' Championships, winning two from 2013 to 2014. Kyle Krisiloff
Kyle Krisiloff (born March 3, 1986) is an American professional racing driver. He is the son of former Champ Car racer, Steve Krisiloff, the nephew of Tony George, and the grandson of Mari Hulman George. He became the youngest BMX rider in the United States, when he began racing BMX bicycles at just three years old. He raced quarter midgets from 1995 to 1999, winning over 320 features and nine Grand National Championships. Racing career Born in Trenton, New Jersey, Krisiloff made his home in Carmel, Indiana. In 2000, Krisiloff raced in Superkarts USA competition, winning two races and two pole positions. In 2001, he competed in twenty-two SCCA Formula Ford events, winning six races, six poles, and national championship at the historic SCCA Runoffs (The youngest ever at 14 years of age). Johnny Chapman
Johnny Chapman (born December 14, 1967) is an American stock car racing driver. Racing career Chapman has won 40 races in NASCAR's Late Model Stock Division as well as being a two-time Goody's Dash Series Champion on his way up the rankings in the late 1980s and early 1990s. In 1997, after running a few one-off races he signed a contract to run the No. 89 Sherwin-Williams Ford in the NASCAR Busch Series. He had three top fifteen finishes that year, including his best major NASCAR finish of 11th in the Winston Motorsports 300 on June 13. His career died down for a while as he ran a handful of races in the next few years in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Clinton Edward Bowyer (born May 30, 1979) is an American former professional stock car racing driver and commentator for ''NASCAR on Fox''. He competed in the NASCAR Cup Series from 2005 to 2020, driving for Richard Childress Racing for eight years, Michael Waltrip Racing for four years, HScott Motorsports for one year, and Stewart-Haas Racing for four years. Wayne Edwards (born June 23, 1967) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He has driven for numerous teams over the past eight years. He is not related to fellow stock car driver Carl Edwards despite having the same last name. Bobby Dotter (born July 11, 1960) is a former professional stock car racing driver. His father, Bob Dotter, is a three-time champion of the Automobile Racing Club of America. Dotter has made 209 starts in the NASCAR Busch Series, posting 42 top-tens and four poles. In 2000, Dotter began running in the NASCAR West Series for Gene Christensen, winning four races and the Most Popular Driver Title. He finished second in points. Sean Murphy (born June 29, 1984) is an American former professional stock car racing driver who competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, IMSA and the ASA Series. SS-Green Light Racing is an American professional stock car racing team that currently competes in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, fielding the No. 07 Ford primarily for Joe Graf Jr. and the No. 08 for primarily for David Starr. Michael Samuel Wallace (born March 10, 1959) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 0 Chevrolet Camaro for JD Motorsports.
