The 2004 Scottish Cup Final was played on 22 May 2004 at Hampden Park in Glasgow and was the final of the 118th Scottish Cup. The final was contested by Dunfermline Athletic and Celtic. The 2003–04 Scottish Cup was the 119th staging of Scotland's most prestigious football knockout competition, also known for sponsorship reasons as the Tennent's Scottish Cup. The Cup was won by Celtic who defeated Dunfermline Athletic in the final. The final was Henrik Larsson's last competitive match for Celtic. Barry Nicholson
Barry Nicholson (born 24 August 1978) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played as a midfielder. He is currently in charge of Fleetwood Town's development squad and also served as caretaker manager of the first team squad. He started his professional career with Rangers and went on to play over 100 games for each of Dunfermline Athletic, Aberdeen and Preston North End. He then played for Fleetwood Town before finishing his career at Kilmarnock. Nicholson earned three full caps for Scotland, all won during his time with Dunfermline. Jackie McNamara
Jackie McNamara (born 24 October 1973) is a Scottish professional football agent, and former player, manager and executive. He won 33 international caps playing for Scotland, and filled a variety of defensive roles in his career. McNamara began his playing career with Dunfermline Athletic before joining Celtic in 1995. During ten years at the club he won the Scottish Premier League title four times and the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup three times each. He then played in England with Wolverhampton Wanderers before returning to Scotland, finishing his career with spells at Aberdeen, Falkirk and Partick Thistle. David Marshall (Scottish Footballer)
David James Marshall (born 5 March 1985) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Scottish Premiership club Hibernian, and formerly played for the Scotland national team. Marshall started his career at Celtic, where he came through the youth system and starred in a European victory against Barcelona. After losing his place at Celtic to Artur Boruc, Marshall moved to Norwich City (initially on loan) in 2007. He moved to Cardiff City in 2009, and helped them win promotion to the Premier League in 2013. Marshall stayed with Cardiff until 2016, when he was transferred to Hull City for £5 million. Jimmy Calderwood
James Calderwood (born 28 February 1955) is a Scottish former football player and manager. Calderwood played for Birmingham City and Dutch clubs Sparta Rotterdam, Willem II Tilburg, Roda JC and Heracles Almelo. After retiring as a player, Calderwood stayed in the Netherlands and became a coach, becoming a manager of Willem II Tilburg and NEC Nijmegen. He returned to his native Scotland in 1999 to become manager of Dunfermline Athletic, guiding them to the 2004 Scottish Cup Final. Calderwood left Dunfermline that summer to become manager of Aberdeen, a position he held for five seasons. Aberdeen performed relatively well in the SPL under Calderwood and reached the last 32 of the 2007–08 UEFA Cup, but suffered a number of domestic cup defeats by lower league opponents. Billy Osman Mehmet (born 3 January 1984) is a professional footballer who last played as a striker for of Northern Cyprus. Born in London, of English, Irish and Turkish Cypriot descent, he has played for the Republic of Ireland U21 team. Mehmet attended Bacon's College, Rotherhithe, he is a product of West Ham United Academy and was signed by the club at the age of eight and spent eleven years with West Ham United before transferring to the Scottish Premier League at the age of 19. Lee Bullen (born 29 March 1971) is a Scottish former professional football player and coach who is the current manager of Scottish Championship side Ayr United. In a career that spanned more than 20 years, Bullen played football professionally in Scotland, England, Australia, Greece and Hong Kong. David Grondin
David Roland Clément Grondin (born 8 May 1980) is a French former footballer. Grondin, who played as a left back, featured for Arsenal as well as several French and Belgian clubs. Career Grondin, featuring as a winger, played in 1994 for Saint-Étienne in his youth career. He then left ''Les Verts'' to join Arsenal in 1998 for £500,000. Andrew Tod (born 4 November 1971) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played mainly as a defender. Career Tod, a versatile player who could play in defence or attack. Tod started his professional career at Dunfermline Athletic in 1992. After being a regular goal scorer within Junior Football, then manager Bert Paton decided to bring the striker to East End Park. Stevie Crawford
Stephen Crawford (born 9 January 1974) is a Scottish professional football coach and former player. Crawford started his career with Raith Rovers, with whom he won the 1994 Scottish League Cup final and played in the UEFA Cup. This earned him a move to English football with Millwall, but Crawford returned to Scotland after just one year. He had a mixed spell with Hibernian, suffering relegation but then winning promotion.
