2002 Norwegian Football Cup
The 2002 Norwegian Football Cup was the 97th edition of the Norway, Norwegian Football Cup. Vålerenga Fotball, Vålerenga won their 3rd Norwegian Championship title after defeating Odd Grenland in the final with the score 1–0. The final was played on Sunday 3 November at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. Odd Grenland got to the final by beating Åssiden IF, Åssiden, Lyngdal Idrettslag, Lyngdal, Bærum SK, Bærum, IK Start, Start, Strømsgodset IF, Strømsgodset and Stabæk Fotball, Stabæk. Vålerenga reached the final by beating Vang Fotballag, Vang, Eidsvold Turn, Lørenskog IF, Lørenskog, Moss FK, Moss, Viking FK, Viking and Aalesunds FK, Aalesund. Viking Fotballklubb, commonly known as Viking or Viking Stavanger internationally, is a Norwegian football club from the city of Stavanger. The club was founded in 1899.
