2025 LEC Season
The 2025 LEC season is the ongoing 13th season of the ''League of Legends'' EMEA Championship (LEC), a professional esports league for the video game ''League of Legends''. It is the first LEC season under the new three-split structure and competitive calendar introduced the game's developer Riot Games starting with the 2025 competitive season. As with previous years, the 2025 season is divided into three splits, Winter, Spring, and Summer — retaining its current split structure while removing Season Finals after two seasons. League changes As the LEC already had a three-split structure prior to Riot Games' announcement of a new split structure and competitive calendar for ''League of Legends'' esports beginning with the 2025 competitive season, the LEC only made minimal changes to its structure but made each split's format different. League Of Legends EMEA Championship
The ''League of Legends'' EMEA Championship (LEC) is the professional ''League of Legends'' esports league run by Riot Games in the EMEA ( Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region, in which ten teams compete. Each annual season is divided into three splits: Winter, Spring and Summer. At the end of the season, the top performing teams qualify for various international events: the First Stand Tournament by winning the Winter Split, the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) for the top two teams of the Spring Split, the ''League of Legends'' World Championship for the top three teams of Summer Split. The LEC represents the highest level of ''League of Legends'' play in the EMEA region. 2025 League Of Legends World Championship
The 2025 ''League of Legends'' World Championship is an upcoming esports tournament for the multiplayer online battle arena video game ''League of Legends'', set to be held in China from 14 October to 9 November — in Beijing, Shanghai, and Chengdu. It is the fifteenth iteration of the ''League of Legends'' World Championship, an annual international tournament organised by the game's developer, Riot Games. It will be the third time China will host the event after holding the 2017 and 2020 editions, the first to be held under Riot Games' new split structure and competitive calendar since 2025, and the first to feature the Fearless Draft format. Steven Liv, better known as Hans Sama, is a French professional ''League of Legends'' player for G2 Esports. Liv has previously played for Team Liquid in the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), as well as Rogue and Misfits in the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC). He was a trainee of T1 before being promoted to the team. Early life His role model is Khan. Javier Prades Batalla (born 13 March 2000), better known as Elyoya, is a Spanish professional ''League of Legends'' player for Movistar KOI. Professional career 2020 season After spending two months at the Movistar Riders Academy, Elyoya was promoted to the first team in October 2019, making his debut in the Iberian Cup at the end of the month.
