The 2024 USF Pro 2000 Championship presented by Continental Tire is the 26th season in series history and the second under the USF Pro 2000 moniker after the three championships below the Indy NXT series were rebranded in 2023 following the acquisition of Indy NXT by Penske Entertainment. Series news * The scholarship for the champion was slightly increased to $681,500. * All three ladder series organized by Andersen Promotions ended their long-running affiliation with Cooper Tire & Rubber Company, Cooper Tires as supplier and presenting partner. Continental AG, Continental is the new tire supplier and title partner of the series. USF Pro 2000 Championship
The USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, formerly known as the Star Mazda Championship, Pro Mazda Championship, and later Indy Pro 2000 Championship, is an open-wheel racing series serving as the third step on the Road to Indy ladder system, between the U.S. F2000 Championship and Indy NXT. The series is sanctioned by the United States Auto Club and operated by Andersen Promotions. The series' champion is awarded a scholarship package to advance to Indy Lights competition for the following season. It competes on all open-wheel disciplines: road courses, street courses, and ovals. The series' primary sponsor is the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company via their Cooper Tires brand. Simon Sikes (born December 7, 2000) is an American racing driver. He currently competes in the USF2000 Championship with Pabst Racing. He is the 2023 USF2000 champion. Adam Vinatieri
Adam Matthew Vinatieri (born December 28, 1972) is an American former football placekicker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 24 seasons with the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts. Considered one of the greatest kickers of all time, he is the NFL's all-time leading scorer at 2,673 points. Jack Miller (racing Driver)
Jack Miller (born June 14, 1961, in Indianapolis), usually known as Dr. Jack Miller, is an American retired racing driver. He drove in the Indy Racing League from 1997 to 2001 and the Indianapolis 500 from 1997 to 1999. Miller is a practicing dentist and was accordingly "The Racing Dentist." For much of his racing career, he was sponsored by dental product companies including Crest and Water Pik. Miller's best IRL finish was a 9th in 1998 at Charlotte. His best finish in the Indianapolis 500 was a 20th his rookie year of 1997. During his stay in Indy Lights he won the 1993 B-series championship. This class of racing was only run in 1993 and consisted of drivers using the previous March chassis as the rest of the series introduced new Lola chassis. Nikita Johnson (born 25 May 2008) is an American racing driver who is currently competing in the 2024 USF Pro 2000 Championship, driving for Velocity Racing Development. Career USF2000 Championship 2023 On October 6, 2022, it was announced that Johnson would compete full-time in the 2023 USF2000 Championship driving for Velocity Racing Development. Lachlan "Lochie" Hughes (born 15 March 2002) is an Australian racing driver. He currently competes in the 2023 USF2000 Championship driving for Jay Howard Driver Development. He is the 2022 Formula 4 United States champion. Career Karting Hughes would have success in karting, finishing 2nd in both the Florida Winter Tour, the WSK Gold cup and the Australian Kart Championship in 2014, 2015 and 2017 respectively. Daniel Dyszelski IV (born April 10, 2008) is an American racing driver. He is currently competing in the 2024 USF Pro 2000 Championship driving for Turn 3 Motorsport. Adam Fitzgerald (born 8 December 2003) is an Irish racing driver who is set to compete in the 2024 USF Pro 2000 Championship with Turn 3 Motorsport. Francesco Raffaele Pizzi (born 12 November 2004) is an Italian racing driver racing in the 2023 USF Pro 2000 Championship with TJ Speed Motorsports.
