2024 Philadelphia Eagles
The 2024 season was the Philadelphia Eagles' 92nd in the National Football League (NFL) and their fourth under head coach Nick Sirianni. The Eagles won their second Super Bowl title and first since 2017, defeating the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs, 40–22, in Super Bowl LIX. With this victory, the Eagles became the only franchise in NFL history to win multiple Super Bowls against defending Super Bowl champions, having previously done so seven years earlier. The National Football Conference – Eastern Division or NFC East is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Lafoga Jordan Mailata ( ; born 31 March 1997) is an Australian professional American football offensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL) and former rugby league player. He previously played rugby league for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs under-18s team and the South Sydney Rabbitohs on their under-20s team. He joined the NFL via the league's International Player Pathway Program and was selected in the seventh round, 233rd overall by the Eagles in the 2018 NFL draft. Fletcher Cox (born December 13, 1990) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive tackle for 12 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, and was selected by the Eagles in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft. During his career, Cox won one Super Bowl, was selected to the Pro Bowl six times, and was named an All-Pro four times.
