2024 New England Revolution Season
The 2024 New England Revolution season was the club's 29th season in existence, and their 29th consecutive season playing in Major League Soccer, the top flight of American soccer. The season began on February 21 when the club defeated Club Atlético Independiente in the first round of the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup. The Revolution will also play in the 2024 Leagues Cup. New England Revolution
The New England Revolution are an American professional association football, soccer club based in the Greater Boston area. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference (MLS), Eastern Conference. It is one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, having competed in the league since its 1996 Major League Soccer season, inaugural season. The club is owned by Robert Kraft, who also owns the New England Patriots along with his son, Jonathan Kraft. Hartford Athletic is an American professional association football, soccer team based in Hartford, Connecticut. The club was founded in 2018 and started play in the USL Championship in 2019. Frederick Henry Kessler (born June 25, 1998) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a center-back for Major League Soccer club St. Louis City SC. Club career Born in New York City, New York, Kessler began playing soccer in the New York Red Bulls academy, where he played for five years before moving to Beachside Soccer Club in Norwalk, Connecticut.
