2024 LEC Season
The 2024 LEC season is the 12th season of the ''League of Legends'' EMEA Championship (LEC), a professional esports league for the MOBA PC game ''League of Legends''. The season is divided into three splits, Winter, Spring, and Summer, and will culminate with the LEC Season Finals. Three team changes occurred leading up to the 2024 season, with Astralis selling their LEC franchise slot to Karmine Corp, KOI effectively rebranding to Rogue, and Excel Esports rebranding to GIANTX. League changes Format and eligibility In contrast to previous season, the LEC merged the group and playoff stages into one double-elimination tournament playoff for the 2024 season. It will maintain the same number of best-of-three and best-of-five series as the previous year. Additionally, teams that can face can face each other in the upper bracket of the playoffs will not face each other in the lower bracket, aside from the lower bracket final. League Of Legends European Championship
The ''League of Legends'' EMEA Championship (LEC) is the professional ''League of Legends'' esports league run by Riot Games in the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region, in which ten teams compete. Each annual season is divided into three splits: Winter, Spring and Summer. At the end of the season, the top performing teams qualify for various international events: the First Stand Tournament by winning the Winter Split, the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) for the top two teams of the Spring Split, the ''League of Legends'' World Championship for the top three teams of Summer Split. The LEC represents the highest level of ''League of Legends'' play in the EMEA region. With the exception of some touring events, all games of the LEC are played live at the Riot Games Arena in Adlershof, Berlin, Germany. In addition to a small studio audience, all games are streamed live in several languages on Twitch and YouTube, with broadcasts regularly attracting over 300,000 viewers. ...

The GAMURS Group, simply known as Gamurs, is an esports media and entertainment publisher. 2024 Esports World Cup
The 2024 Esports World Cup (EWC) was the first edition of the Esports World Cup, an annual international esports tournament series run by the Esports World Cup Foundation. 2024 Esports World Cup – League Of Legends
The multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game ''League of Legends'' had a tournament at the 2024 Esports World Cup, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 4 to 7, 2024. Eight teams took part in this tournament, marketed as Esports World Cup presenting League of Legends, two each from the four major competitive regions – LCS (North America), LEC (EMEA), LCK (Korea) and LPL (China). T1 would win the tournament, beating Top Esports 3-1 in the final. Format The eight teams that participate in the tournament were put into a single-elimination bracket, not unlike the one used at the ''League of Legends'' World Championship.
