2024 GT4 America Series
The 2024 Pirelli GT4 America Series is the fifth season of the GT4 America Series. The season begins on April 7 at Sonoma Raceway and will end on October 6 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Calendar The preliminary calendar was released on July 1, 2023, featuring 14 races across seven rounds. The calendar was later updated in September, replacing the second round at NOLA Motorsports Park with a round at Sebring International Raceway. Round 6, which was set as TBA on the preliminary calendar was confirmed to be a round at Barber Motorsports Park. All rounds support the 2024 GT World Challenge America. The calendar was dropped to 13 rounds with Pirelli GT4 America's first ever endurance race at COTA. The 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS was the eighteenth season of the United States Auto Club's GT World Challenge America, and the seventh under ownership of SRO Motorsports Group. The season began at Sonoma on April 5, and ended at Indianapolis on October 6. Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin
Elkhart Lake is a village in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States, located within the northwestern part of the county within the Town of Rhine. The population was 967 at the 2010 census. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. Elkhart Lake may be best known for hosting road races on public county roads during the 1950s, later moving to a dedicated race track called Road America, which is located a few miles south of the village. The Flying Lizard Motorsports group is a motorsport team from Sonoma, California, formed by Seth Neiman in early 2003. The team competed in the full American Le Mans Series season, as well as the 24 Hours of Daytona, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The team went on to win six driver and team championships in the American Le Mans Series, becoming a Porsche factory team and Porsche Motorsport North America's development partner from 2007 to 2012. Flat-six Engine
A flat-six engine, also known as a horizontally opposed-six, is a six-cylinder piston engine with three cylinders on each side of a central crankshaft. The most common type of flat-six engine is the boxer-six engine, where each pair of opposed cylinders moves inwards and outwards at the same time. The advantages of the flat-six layout are good engine balance (for reduced vibration), a low center of gravity, short length (compared with an inline-six engine) and being well suited to air-cooling. The disadvantages are a large width (which can limit the maximum steering angle when used in a front-engined car), a large intake manifold being required when a central carburetor is used, and duplication of the inlet and outlet connections for water-cooled engines. The Porsche 982 is the internal designation of the fourth generation Boxster/Cayman (third generation Cayman) made by German automobile manufacturer Porsche. Robb Holland (born November 18, 1967 in Denver, Colorado) is an American auto racing, racecar driver who has competed in several international racing series. Most notably the British Touring Car Championship where in 2014, Holland became the first American driver in history to compete full-time in the series driving Rotek Racing's Audi S3. Ryan A. Eversley (born December 22, 1983) is an American professional auto racing driver. Since 2015, Eversley has been a Honda factory driver who primarily races in sports car racing championships such as the Michelin Pilot Challenge and Pirelli World Challenge.
