ISU Challenger Series
The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 figure skating season, 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Each event consists of at least three disciplines out of four (Single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing), and is required to take place between August 1 and December 15. The ISU Challenger Series Synchronized Skating is a separate competition series in the discipline of synchronized skating. History The ISU Council decided to create the series at its February 2014 meeting. Eleven competitions were selected in June 2014. The Triglav Trophy dropped out by October 10, 2014, resulting in a series composed of ten events. Roman Sadovsky
Roman Sadovsky (born May 31, 1999) is a Canadian figure skating, figure skater and YouTuber. He is the 2019 NHK Trophy bronze medalist, a five-time ISU Challenger Series medalist, and a two-time Canadian Figure Skating Championships, Canadian national champion (2020, 2025). He represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics. On the junior level, he is a two-time ISU Junior Grand Prix gold medalist, and placed fourth at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics. Personal life Sadovsky was born on May 31, 1999, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His parents moved to Canada from Ukraine. Oona Ounasvuori
Oona Ounasvuori (born 30 October 1998) is a Finnish figure skater. She is the 2022 Nordic champion, 2017 Open d'Andorra silver medalist, 2021 Volvo Open Cup bronze medalist, and the 2024 Finnish national bronze medalist. Career Early years Ounasvuori began learning to skate in 2005. She competed in the advanced novice category beginning in the 2011–12 season through 2013–14. Her junior international debut came in February 2015 at the Bavarian Open. Senior career In November 2017, Ounasvuori won silver at the Open d'Andorra. Matias Antero Lindfors (born 15 February 1997) is a Finnish former professional footballer who last played as a midfielder for Ykkösliiga club KTP. Linnea Ceder (born 8 August 2002) is a Finnish figure skater. She is the 2022 and 2025 Finnish Figure Skating Championships, Finnish national silver medalist. Personal life Ceder was born on August 8, 2002, in Tuusula, Finland, to parents, Mia and Ikka. She has two younger siblings, Linus and Elle. Ceder's sister, Elle, is a Middle-distance running, middle-distance runner who competed in the semi-finals at the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships – Women's 800 metres, 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships in the women's 800 metre event.
