2023–24 Gozo First Division
The 2023–24 Gozo First Division (known as the Bank of Valletta, BOV GFL First Division for sponsorship reasons) was the 77th season of the Gozo Football League First Division, the highest division in Gozo, Gozitan football. The season began on 7 September 2023 and ended on 21 April 2024. Nadur Youngsters F.C., Nadur Youngsters won the league title (their third consecutive title win and fifteenth overall). The seventh-placed team (Għajnsielem F.C., Għajnsielem) qualified for the #Gozo First Division play-off, Gozo First Division play-off, winning to retain their place in the league. The bottom-placed team (Kerċem Ajax F.C., Kerċem Ajax) were relegated to the 2024–25 Gozo Second Division. Għajnsielem
Għajnsielem (; meaning "Spring of Sielem") is a municipality on the southeastern coast of the island of Gozo in Malta, including the entire island of Comino. It has a population of 3,200 residents (as of March 2014), and is the first Gozitan village that greets the visitor on leaving Mġarr Harbour towards the Gozitan heartland. Its name originated from the water spring, around which in 1700, Grandmaster Perellos built an arcade containing public wash basins and fresh water spouts. Attractions include Lourdes Chapel with its sharp steeple and underlying niche of Our Lady of Lourdes, Fort Chambray and the towering of Ghajnsielem Parish Church. Gozo ( ), known in antiquity as Gaulos, is an island in the Maltese archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. The island is part of the Republic of Malta. After the island of Malta itself, it is the second-largest island in the archipelago. Gozo Stadium
The Gozo Stadium (), formerly known as the Silver Jubilee Ground, is the main stadium of the island of Gozo, Malta. The Gozo Stadium, which is located in Xewkija, seats only 1,644 people but its standing areas at each end of its main stand ensure that the stadium can hold up to approximately 3,800 people, with 1,628 seated. Xagħra
Xagħra () is an administrative unit of Malta on the island of Gozo. It is one of the earliest inhabited parts of Gozo, being home to the Ġgantija megalithic temples, which date back to 3600 BC, and the Xagħra Stone Circle.
