2023 Ultimate Cup Series
The 2023 Ultimate Cup Series was the fifth season of the Ultimate Cup Series. It began at Circuit Paul Ricard on 25 March and ended at the same venue on 26 November. The Ultimate Cup Series is a program comprising multiple endurance and sprint championships across different classes of motor racing. Calendar The 2023 calendar was announced on 10 October 2022. The round at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli was to be replaced by a round at the newly built Circuit de Mirecourt near Nancy in eastern France. Championship organizers were unable to finalize an agreement on the round, however, so in June, the venue was replaced by a round at Estoril. Zdeněk Chovanec López (born 9 October 2004), otherwise known as Zdeněk Chovanec Jr. or simply Zdeněk Chovanec, is a Czech-Portuguese-Venezuelan racing driver who most recently competed in the 2022 BOSS GP Series with MM International Motorsport, and the FIA F3 Championship with Charouz Racing System. He raced with Double R Racing in the Euroformula Open Championship in 2021, and made the switch to FIA F3 with Charouz Racing System prior to round five of the championship, following Reshad de Gerus' departure from the team. Pedro Alexandre Martins Perino (born 27 May 2005) is a Portuguese- Mozambican racing driver who drives for Inter Europol Competition in the European Le Mans Series. Early career Having tested Formula 4 machinery in Cremona at the back end of 2020, the Mozambican would make his car racing debut, driving for DR Formula RP Motorsport in the final round of the Italian F4 Championship.
