2022 USFL Draft
The 2022 USFL draft, also known as the 2022 USFL player selection meeting, was the player selection process to fill the rosters of the eight teams for the 2022 USFL season. The draft was held on February 22–23, 2022, with results released through the USFL's social media channels. Structure The USFL player allocation process was held in multiple phases, separated by American football positions, position groups. The league used a "snake" format in each phase, in which the draft order reversed with each round. The draft order was shuffled for each phase as predetermined through Lottery, lotteries. A draft pool of 450–500 players were eligible to be picked by signing contracts before the draft. Ben Holmes (American Football)
Ben Holmes (born October 15, 1994) is an American professional gridiron football quarterback for the Vienna Vikings of the European League of Football (ELF). He played college football at Nassau Community College and Tarleton State. He played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 2022. He will play for the Vienna Vikings in the European League of Football in the 2024 season. The Northern Colorado Bears football program is the intercollegiate American football team for the University of Northern Colorado located in Greeley, Colorado. The team competes in the Big Sky Conference at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level. The university's first football team was fielded in 1893. Kyle Joseph Sloter (born February 7, 1994) is an American professional football quarterback. He played college football for the Southern Miss Golden Eagles before transferring to the Northern Colorado Bears. New Orleans Breakers (2022)
The New Orleans Breakers were a professional American football team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Breakers competed in the United States Football League (2022), United States Football League (USFL) as a member of the league's South division. As with the majority of the revived USFL's teams, the Breakers did not play in the metropolitan area of the city whose name they bear; they instead shared Protective Stadium with the Birmingham Stallions (2022), Birmingham Stallions. The Richmond Spiders are a college football team representing the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia. Richmond was the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision champion for the 2008 season. The Pittsburgh Maulers were a professional American football team based in Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but played their home games in Canton, Ohio.
