The 2022 Bengaluru Open II was a professional tennis tournament played on hard courts. It was the fifth edition of the tournament which was part of the 2022 ATP Challenger Tour. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Tennis Tennis hard courts are made of synthetic/acrylic layers on top of a concrete or asphalt foundation and can vary in color. These courts tend to play medium-fast to fast because there is little energy absorption by the court, as with grass courts but unlike clay courts. Max Purcell
Max Purcell (born 3 April 1998) is an Australian professional tennis player. He won his first Grand Slam title at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships in doubles alongside Matthew Ebden. The pair also finished runners-up at the 2022 Australian Open, and Purcell previously reached the final at the 2020 Australian Open with Luke Saville. Saketh Myneni
Saketh Myneni (born 19 October 1987) is an Indian professional tennis player. He is conferred with the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2017 and represents India in the Davis Cup. He won a gold medal in Mixed doubles and a silver medal in Men's doubles event at Incheon Asian Games 2014. Andrew Harris (born 7 March 1994) is an Australian professional tennis player from Melbourne. He was the winner of the junior doubles titles at the 2012 Wimbledon Championships and the Roland Garros Junior French Championship.
