2021–22 REG BBC Season
The 2021–22 REG BBC season is the 6th season in the history of the team, its 6th in the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL) and its 1st in the Basketball Africa League (BAL). Robert Pack (basketball)
Robert John Pack Jr. (born February 3, 1969) is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He last coached the Rwandan club REG of the Basketball Africa League A point guard, he played 13 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). High school and college career Pack attended Alfred Lawless High School in New Orleans. He was a high school teammate of future NBA player Eldridge Recasner and graduated from Lawless in 1987. He then attended Tyler Junior College for two years, transferred to the University of Southern California in 1989, and graduated with a degree in sociology in 1991. He averaged 13.4 points per game and 5.3 assists in his two seasons at USC. AS Salé (basketball)
Association Sportive Salé (), commonly known as AS Salé, is a Moroccan basketball club from Salé. The club competes in the Division Excellence. Notable players of the team include senior men's Moroccan national basketball team members Abderrahim Najah, Zakaria El Masbahi and Soufiane Kourdou. Salé has won the Moroccan championship 9 times and the Moroccan Throne Cup a record 12 times. The team won one continental title, the FIBA Africa Champions Cup, in 2017. Kigali Arena
BK Arena (formerly known as Kigali Arena) is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Kigali, Rwanda, used mostly for basketball and volleyball matches. Built and finished in 2019, it hosts sporting events and concerts. It is the biggest indoor arena in East Africa and is located next to the Amahoro Stadium. The arena is regularly used for games in the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL). It was constructed by SUMMA, a Turkish international contractor. In 2021 Kigali Arena signed a contract with Rwandan singer Bruce Melodie for him to be its brand ambassador for the next three years with a shared objective to position the venue as a regional entertainment hub. Clube Ferroviário da Beira (in English: Railway Club Beira) is a basketball club from Beira, Mozambique. Union Sportive Monastirienne (), commonly known as US Monastir, is a Tunisian professional basketball club based in Monastir. Established in 1959, the team plays in the Pro A the first division league in Tunisia and has won nine national championships. Dieudonné Ndizeye
Dieudonné Ndayisaba Ndizeye (born 14 October 1996) is a Rwandan basketball player for REG of the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL) and the Rwanda national team. He is a three-time RBL champion and a one-time league MVP winner in 2019. Ndizeye has played two seasons in the BAL as well with REG. Professional career Ndizeye started his career with IPRC-Kigali in the National Basketball League in 2015. In 2017, Ndizeye joined Patriots BBC. He was named the national league MVP for the 2018–19 season. In November 2021, he joined the South Sudanese side Cobra Sport to play for them in the 2022 BAL qualifying tournaments. SLAC (basketball Club)
Seydou Legacy Athlétique Club, commonly known as SLAC, is a Guinean basketball team from Conakry. The team plays in the Ligue 1, as well as in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) in of the 2023 season. SLAC has won the Ligue 1 championship six times in history. SLAC plays its home games in the Palais de Sports de Stade du 28 Septembre, located next to the multi-purpose stadium. Adonis Filer
Adonis Jovon Filer (born July 11, 1993) is a Rwandan-American basketball player who currently plays for APR. He also plays for the Rwanda national basketball team in International competitions. Early life Born and raised in Chicago, Filer attended Mount Carmel High School before transferring to the Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, Indiana. He later also attended Notre Dame Preparatory School in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. College career Filer committed to the Clemson Tigers. In his rookie season, he averaged 10.0 points and 4.0 rebounds. After two years, he transferred from Clemson to Florida Atlantic. Professional career On September 14, 2017, Filer signed his first professional contract with Cypriot club Apollon Limassol.
