2021–22 ISU Challenger Series
The 2021–22 ISU Challenger Series was held from September to December 2021. It was the eighth season that the ISU Challenger Series, a group of senior-level international figure skating competitions, was held. 2021 CS Finlandia Trophy
The 2021 CS Finlandia Trophy was held on October 7–10, 2021 in Espoo, Finland. It was part of the 2021–22 ISU Challenger Series. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, pairs, and ice dance. After the previous Challenger Series event, the 2021 CS Nepela Memorial, Nepela Memorial, was cancelled, the event organizers received a higher-than-anticipated interest number of entries. As a result, the competition was extended one day to begin on Thursday, October 7, rather than the original Friday, October 8 start date. Vincent Zhou (born October 25, 2000) is an American figure skater. He is a 2022 Olympic gold medalist in the team event, a two-time World bronze medalist (2019 and 2022), the 2019 Four Continents bronze medalist, the 2021 Skate America champion, and a three-time U.S. national silver medalist (2017, 2019, 2021). Morisi Mikhailovich Kvitelashvili ( ka, მორის ყვითელაშვილი, ; , born 17 March 1995) is a retired Russian- Georgian figure skater who currently represents Georgia. He is the 2020 European bronze medalist, a three-time Rostelecom Cup medalist (including gold in 2021), a five-time Challenger series medalist (including gold at the 2017 CS Golden Spin of Zagreb), and the 2018 Georgian national champion.
