2021 Gold Over America Tour
The Gold Over America Tour, also called Gap Inc.#Athleta, Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour, was a 2021 gymnastics-themed touring show headlined by Simone Biles. In late 2019, Biles announced her plans to launch an all-woman tour that would be a mixture of sports and entertainment intended to inspire the next generation of female athletes. Slated to take place after the 2020 Summer Olympics, 2020 Summer Olympic Games, the tour was to mount shows in 35 cities. Laurie Hernandez
Lauren Zoe Hernandez (born June 9, 2000) is an American retired artistic gymnast. During her debut year as a senior gymnast, she competed as a member of the U.S. women's gymnastics team dubbed the " Final Five" that won the team gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Individually, Hernandez earned the silver medal on the balance beam. She took a break from gymnastics and returned to training in late 2018 to earn a spot on the 2020 Summer Olympics team, but she did not qualify for the Olympic Trials. Hernandez was first added to the U.S. gymnastics national team in 2013 and began competing in international competitions that same year. After missing the 2014 season due to injury, she won the junior all-around title at the 2015 U.S. Championships. 2018 Pan American Gymnastics Championships
The 2018 Pan American Gymnastics Championships was held in Lima, Peru, in September, 2018. Three gymnastics disciplines were contested: artistic gymnastics (from September 11 to 16), rhythmic gymnastics (from September 26 to 30) and trampoline (from September 5 to 9). The event was organized by the Peruvian Gymnastics Federation under the supervision of the Pan American Gymnastics Union and the International Gymnastics Federation, and served as qualification for the 2019 Pan American Games, which were also held in Lima, Peru. Shilese Jones (born July 26, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the teams that won gold at the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2022 World Championships, 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2023 World Championships, and the 2018 Pan American Gymnastics Championships, 2018 Pan American Championships. Individually she is the 2022 World all-around and uneven bars silver medalist and the 2023 World all-around and uneven bars bronze medalist. 2017 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the forty-seventh edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 2–8, 2017, at the Montreal Olympic Stadium, Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event marked the first time since 2003 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2003 that the Championships had been held in North America. Montreal was also the host of the 1985 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 1985 World Championships and the 1976 Summer Olympics. Nia Camille Dennis (born February 23, 1999) is a retired American collegiate artistic gymnast. She was a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team, USA National Team from 2012 to 2016. She is the 2014 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships – Women's Artistic Gymnastics, 2014 Pacific Rim team champion and junior all-around and vault silver medalist.
