The 2020–21 Spartak Moscow season was the twenty-ninth successive season that the club played in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia. Season events On 25 July, Aleksandr Rudenko joined Sochi on a season-long loan deal. On 2 August, Spartak announced the signing of Aleksandr Kokorin to a three-year contract, with the option of an additional year, after his Zenit St.Petersburg contract had expired. Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Kokorin (''né'' Kartashov; , ; born 19 March 1991) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Cypriot First Division club Aris Limassol. Kokorin had his breakthrough season in 2012–13, which led to Dynamo Moscow inserting a €19 million release clause into his contract. FC Arsenal Tula () is a Russian professional football club from Tula playing in the second-tier Russian First League. FC Khimki () was a Russian professional football club based in Khimki. History The team was formed in 1996 by merging two amateur clubs from Khimki, Rodina, and Novator.
