2020 Formula Renault Eurocup
The 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup was a multi-event motor racing championship for open-wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship featured drivers competing in 1.8 litre Formula Renault single-seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations of the championship. The 2020 season was the 30th and final season Eurocup Formula Renault organised by Renault Sport, as it merged with the Formula Regional European Championship for the 2021 season. The series visited nine circuits around Europe. The championship was won by Victor Martins, with ART Grand Prix taking the teams' title. Formula Regional European Championship
The Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) is a FIA-certified regional European Formula 3 racing series. On 12 October 2018 it was announced that the Italian autosport regulator Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI) and karting promoter WSK would organize the inaugural year of the championship in 2019. Their bid was chosen over Renault Sport's bid with the same chassis, who attracted fewer votes from Single-Seater Commission members. Following the 2020 season, the Formula Renault Eurocup merged with the Formula Regional European Championship to become the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine. The championship's first season featured eight rounds on the circuits across Europe with half of them in Italy. The driver champions receive FIA Super License points. Michael Arnoldovich Belov (russian: Михаэль Арнольдович Белов, Mikhael Arnoldovich Belov; born 21 November 2001) is a Russian racing driver currently competing in the Formula Regional European Championship with G4 Racing. Career Formula 4 Belov started his professional single-seater career in the SMP F4 Championship in 2017 with the SMP Racing team. Belov claimed his first podium finish on the final race of the season with a third-place, finishing eighth overall in the championship. David Vidales Ajenjo (born 1 May 2002) is a Spanish racing driver set to race in the 2023 Super Formula Lights with B-Max Racing. He was a race winner in the FIA Formula 3 Championship for Campos Racing. JD Motorsport is an auto racing team based in Vespolate, Italy that competes in formula single-seaters in Europe. History The team was formed in the 1995 by Roberto Cavallari and Alfredo Cappelletti.
