Esiliiga
The Esiliiga is the second division in the Estonian football league system. The Esiliiga is ranked below the Meistriliiga and above the Esiliiga B. As in most countries with low temperatures in winter time, the season starts in March and ends in November. The league features several reserve teams of Meistriliiga clubs. According to the rules set by the Estonian Football Association, reserve teams are ineligible for promotion to the Meistriliiga, but can play in the Estonian Cup. Competition format During the season, the teams play each of the other four times, twice at home and twice away. This makes for a total of 36 games played each season. The teams gain three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a defeat. Promotion and relegation between divisions is a central feature of the league. JK Vändra Vaprus is an Estonian football club based in Vändra. History Vändra Vaprus were founded on 30 September 2009 by Pärnu Vaprus in cooperation with the Vändra borough. The team represents the borough of Vändra in the Estonian football league system and the Estonian Cup games. The 2020 Esiliiga B was the eighth season of the Esiliiga B, the third tier of Football in Estonia, Estonian football. The season began on 8 March 2020 and concluded on 22 November 2020. Teams Of the 10 participating teams 6 remained following the 2019 Esiliiga B. The 2019 champions FC Nõmme United, Nõmme United, runners-up JK Vaprus Vändra, Vändra and 3rd placed Pärnu Jalgpalliklubi were promoted to the Esiliiga, while 10th placed Põhja-Tallinna JK Volta, Volta were relegated to the II liiga. The 2020 Meistriliiga (known as A. Le Coq Premium Liiga for sponsorship reasons) was the 30th season of the Meistriliiga, the top Estonian league for association football clubs. The season began on 6 March 2020, but was suspended after the first round due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The league continued on 19 May 2020. The season concluded on 6 December, with the last match between Flora and FCI Levadia cancelled due to COVID-19 cases in both teams. The 2019–20 Estonian Cup was the 30th season of the Estonian main domestic football knockout tournament. Flora won their eight title after defeating Narva Trans in the final. FCI Levadia U21 Tallinn, commonly known as FCI Levadia U21, is a football club, based in Tallinn, Estonia. Founded as Levadia Tallinn, it was the reserve team of Levadia Maardu from 2000–2004. In 2004, Levadia Maardu moved to Tallinn and became the new Levadia Tallinn, while the reserve team became Levadia II. Reserve teams in Estonia play in the same league system as the senior team, rather than in a reserve team league. The Esiliiga B is the third division in the Estonian football league system. The Esiliiga B is ranked below the Esiliiga and above the II liiga. As in most countries with low temperatures in winter time, the season starts in March and ends in November. Competition format The league consists of 10 clubs, all teams play each other four times. Both the winning team and the runners-up are promoted to the Esiliiga directly, whereas the third place club will participate in a two-legged play-off with the 8th place club of the Esiliiga for the spot in next year's competition. Same way the 2 bottom placed teams are relegated to the II liiga.
