2019–20 Azerbaijan Premier League
The 2019–20 Azerbaijan Premier League was the 28th season of the Azerbaijan Premier League with Qarabağ FK, Qarabağ being the defending champions. The season began on 16 August 2019, and prematurely ended on 19 June 2020. Season events On 13 March 2020, the Azerbaijan Premier League was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 19 June 2020, the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan, AFFA announced that the 2019–20 edition of the Azerbaijan Premier League had officially ended without the resumption of the remaining matches due to the escalating situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Azerbaijan. As a result, Qarabağ FK, Qarabağ were crowned champions for the seventh season in a row, whilst also qualifying for the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League, with Neftçi PFK, Neftçi, Keşla FK, Keşla and Sumgayit FK, Sumgayit qualifying for the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League. Azerbaijan Premier League
The Azerbaijan Premier League (), also known as Misli Premyer Liqası for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Azerbaijan and the highest level of the Azerbaijani football league system. It is contested by twelve clubs. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 33 matches each (playing each team in the league three times, twice at home and once away). The Premier League champion secures the right to play in UEFA Champions League first qualifying round. The runner up and the 3rd-place winner secure the right to play in UEFA Europa Conference League starting in second qualifying round. Since 1992, a total of eight clubs have been crowned champions of the Azerbaijani football system. 2020–21 UEFA Europa League

Sabail raion () is one of the 12 raions of the capital city of Baku, located on the Caspian shore. It is the oldest district in the city. ASK Arena (), formerly Inter Arena and Shafa Stadium is an all-seater football stadium located in Baku . The stadium was built on the site of Termist stadium in 2001 and has a capacity of 8,125 spectators. The stadium surrounded by practice fields, administration buildings and four-star hotel.
