Fabio Fognini defeated Dušan Lajović in the final, 6–3, 6–4 to win the singles tennis title at the 2019 Monte-Carlo Masters. It was his first ATP Tour Masters 1000 title. Radu Albot (born 11 November 1989) is a Moldovan professional tennis player. He achieved a career high ranking of No. 39 on 5 August 2019, making him the highest ranked player from Moldova. He was ranked as high as No. 43 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he achieved in February 2018.
