The 2018 OEC Taipei WTA Challenger was a professional tennis tournament played on indoor carpet courts. It was the 11th edition of the tournament and part of the 2018 WTA 125K series, offering a total of $125,000 in prize money. It took place in Taipei, Taiwan, on 12–18 November 2018. WTA 125K Series
WTA 125 tournaments are an international series of professional women's tennis tournaments organized by the Women's Tennis Association since 2012. Sometimes called the WTA Challenger tour (analogous to the men's ATP Challenger Series),OEC WTA Challenger
2015 it is the second highest level of women's competition, below the top-tier WTA Tour, and above the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour tournaments. Joanna Garland
Joanna Garland ( Chinese: 葛藍喬安娜; born 16 July 2001) is a professional tennis player who represents Chinese Taipei. She has a career-high WTA singles ranking of world No. 175 achieved on 26 May 2025. Garland has won 16 singles and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Early life Garland is half-British and half-Taiwanese. Carol Zhao
Carol Zhao (born June 20, 1995) is a Chinese-Canadian tennis player. She reached her highest WTA singles ranking of No. 131 in June 2018, and her career-high junior rank of No. 9 on January 1, 2013. She won the Australian Open junior doubles title in 2013.
