The 2018 New Mexico Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 15, 2018, with kickoff scheduled for 2:00 p.m. EST (12:00 p.m. local MST). It was the 13th edition of the New Mexico Bowl, and one of the 2018–19 bowl games concluding the 2018 FBS football season. Unfortunately for North Texas, their C-USA Player of the Year all time leading passer quarterback Mason Fine went out with an injury in the first half, with the score 14-7, making it difficult to compete with Utah State for the remainder of the game. Dreamstyle Stadium
University Stadium (officially Dreamstyle Stadium from 2017 to 2020) is an outdoor football stadium in the western United States, located on the south campus of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Cole Hedlund
Cole Hedlund (born March 15, 1995) is a former American football placekicker. He played college football at Arkansas and North Texas. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2019. College career Hedlund played college football for both the Arkansas Razorbacks from 2015 to 2017 and for the North Texas Mean Green in 2018. Dominik Eberle
Dominik Eberle (born July 4, 1996) is an American football placekicker who is currently a free agent. He played college football for the Utah State Aggies. He made his NFL debut in Week 16 of the 2021 NFL season. Early life Eberle was born in Nuremberg, Germany in 1996 to Güenther Eberle and Carmen Romero-Eberle. He has one sibling. Eberle eventually moved to California and attended Redondo Union High School where he played football and soccer. College career Eberle enrolled to play football at Utah State University in 2015 and redshirted his first year. 2014 UTEP Miners Football Team
The 2014 UTEP Miners football team represented the University of Texas at El Paso in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. This was the second year for head coach Sean Kugler both with UTEP and overall. They were a member of the West Division of Conference USA. The Miners played their home games in El Paso, Texas at the Sun Bowl Stadium. They finished the season 7–6, 5–3 in C-USA play to finish in a tie for second place in the West Division. Matthew Scribner Wells (born August 10, 1973) is an American football coach and former quarterback who most recently served as the head coach at Texas Tech University. Wells previously served as the offensive coordinator and then head coach at Utah State University, where he was named Mountain West conference coach of the year in 2013 and again in 2018. He was named head coach of Texas Tech on November 29, 2018. He is currently an offensive analyst under Brent Venables at Oklahoma. The 2018–19 NCAA football bowl games were a series of college football bowl games completing the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The games began on December 15, 2018, and, aside from the all-star games that follow, ended with the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship, which was played on January 7, 2019. The total of 40 team-competitive bowls in FBS, including the national championship game, was unchanged from the previous year. New Mexico Bowl
The New Mexico Bowl is an NCAA-sanctioned post-season college football bowl game that has been played annually since 2006 at University Stadium, on the campus of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
