2018 Blancpain GT Series
The 2018 Blancpain GT Series was the fifth season of the Blancpain GT Series. The season began on 7 April at Circuit Zolder, Zolder and ended on 30 September in Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Barcelona. The season featured ten rounds, five 2018 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, Endurance Cup rounds and five 2018 Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup, Sprint Cup rounds. Calendar At the annual press conference during the 2017 24 Hours of Spa on 28 July, the Stéphane Ratel Organisation announced the first draft of the 2018 calendar. Circuit Zolder, Zolder became the season opener instead of Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Misano. On 17 September 2017, it was announced the race at Silverstone Circuit, Silverstone was moved a week to avoid a clash with the 2018 24 Hours of Nürburgring, Nürburgring 24 Hours. Blancpain GT Series
GT World Challenge Europe (known as the Blancpain GT Series between 2014 and 2019) is a sports car racing series organised by SRO Motorsports Group. It features grand tourer racing cars modified from production road cars complying with the FIA's GT3 regulations. The series is divided into two separate championships, the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, with five weekends each for 2022. Each race meeting focuses on Sprint Cup OR Endurance Cup exclusively. Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (), informally referred to as Spa, is a Race track, motor-racing circuit located in Francorchamps, Stavelot, Wallonia, Belgium, about southeast of Spa, Belgium, Spa. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925 Belgian Grand Prix, 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 except 2003 and 2006. Misano Adriatico () is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Rimini in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about southeast of Bologna and about southeast of Rimini. The Circuit Paul Ricard () is a French motorsport race track built in 1969 at Le Castellet, Var, near Marseille, with finance from pastis magnate Paul Ricard. Silverstone
Silverstone is a village and civil parish in the West Northamptonshire unitary authority area of Northamptonshire, England. The village is about south-southwest of Towcester and northeast of Brackley, both accessed via the A43 road, A43 main road which now bypasses Silverstone to the south and east.
