2017 Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters
The 2017 Monte-Carlo Masters was a tennis tournament for male professional players, played from 16 April through 23 April 2017, on outdoor clay courts. It was the 111th edition of the annual Monte Carlo Masters tournament, sponsored by Rolex for the ninth time. It took place at the Monte Carlo Country Club in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France (though billed as Monte Carlo, Monaco). Masters 1000
The ATP 1000 events, also known as ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, are an annual series of nine tennis tournaments featuring the top-ranked players on the ATP Tour since its inception in 1990. The ATP 1000 tournaments, sitting below the Grand Slam tournaments and the year-end championships, make up the most coveted trophies on the annual ATP Tour calendar. Dominic Thiem (; born 3 September 1993) is an Austrian former professional tennis player. He was ranked world No. 3 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he first achieved in March 2020.
