2014–15 FK Khazar Lankaran Season
The Khazar Lankaran 2014-15 season is Khazar Lankaran's tenth Azerbaijan Premier League season. They will participate in the Premier League and the Azerbaijan Cup. Oğuz Çetin was appointed as the club's manager on 5 June 2014, following the mutual termination of Mustafa Denizli's contract at the end of the 2013–14 season. resigning as manager on 22 December, with Elbrus Mammadov taking over as manager. FK Khazar Lankaran
Khazar Lankaran FK ( tly, Xəzər Lankon Futboli Klub, script=Latn, az, Xəzər Lənkəran Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Lankaran that last played in the Azerbaijan Premier League during the 2015–16 season. Since the summer of 2016 the club has concentrated on youth football. It played in the Azerbaijan Premier League for twelve-seasons, winning the title once, and the Azerbaijan Cup three times. Khazar were also a member of the European Club Association, an organization that replaced the previous G-14 which consists of major football clubs in Europe. History Early years (2004–2012) The club was founded in 2004 by Azerbaijani entrepreneur Mubariz Mansimov and dubbed by the local media as ''"Caucasian Chelsea"'' because of its strong financial position. Sadio Tounkara
Sadio Tounkara (born 27 April 1992) is a Malian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Playing career Club Tounkara played for a Mali academy from the age of 12 to 15, before signing for then signed for Malian Second Division side Jeanne d'Arc, earning promotion to the Malian Première Division for the 2008/09 season. During the winter of the 2011–12 season, Tounkara signed for Azerbaijan Premier League side Khazar Lankaran. Rashad Sadiqov ( az, Rəşad Sadiqov; born 8 October 1983) is an Azerbaijani footballer who plays as a central midfielder, for Keşla and the Azerbaijan national football team. Career Sadiqov signed a two-year contract with Khazar Lankaran in August 2014. After only six-months with Khazar, Sadiqov terminated his contract, going on to sign a six-month contract with Gabala FK with the option of another year.
