2013 NRW Trophy
The 2013 NRW Trophy is an international figure skating competition during the 2013–2014 season. An annual event organized in Germany by the Skating Union of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), it has been sanctioned by the Deutsche Eislauf Union and the International Skating Union since 2007. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The competition is held in Dortmund in two parts. The Ice Dance Trophy, in which ice dancers compete on the senior, junior, and novice levels, was held from 1–3 November 2013. The singles and pairs portion, also with senior, junior, and novice levels, was held from 4–8 December 2013. Entries The entries were as follows. The 2013–14 figure skating season began on July 1, 2013, and ended on June 30, 2014. Matěj Novák (born 6 November 1989) is a Czech former competitive ice dancer. With former partner Lucie Myslivečková, he is the 2010 Golden Spin of Zagreb champion and the 2011 Czech national champion. He currently competes with Gabriela Kubová. Career Myslivečkova and Novák won a silver and bronze on the Junior Grand Prix circuit. They finished as high as 8th at Junior Worlds in 2009 and debuted at senior Worlds in the same season. Asher Hill (born March 19, 1991) is a Canadian retired ice dancer. With previous partner Kharis Ralph, he is the 2008 Canadian national junior champion and 2011 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist. He teamed up with Nicole Orford in 2015. Kharis Ralph (born April 22, 1992) is a Canadian former ice dancer. With Asher Hill, she is the 2008 Canadian national junior champion and 2011 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist.
