The 2013 Kazakhstan First Division was the 19th edition of Kazakhstan First Division, the second level football competition in Kazakhstan. 18 teams to play against each other on home-away system. The top team gains promotion to the Kazakhstan Premier League, Premier League next season, while the second-placed team enters playoff series with the eleventh team of the Premier League. Zhastar Stadium
Zhas Kanat Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Aktau, Kazakhstan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Caspiy, which plays in the country's top-tier Kazakhstan Premier League. History The stadium was opened on April 19, 1995. The stadium's first match was held between " Munayshy" and " Elimay". In 2014, the authorities announced a possible transfer of the Zhas Kanat Stadium into private hands which caused a lot of indignation among parents of children training at the stadium, as well as among the coaches of the sports departments. The Kazakhstan Football Federation banned championship and cup matches at the stadium in early 2017 because of its inappropriate surface. Temirtau
Temirtau (; ) is a city in the Karaganda Region of Kazakhstan. The population was 170,481 in the 1999 census, rising to 210,590 in 2015. The city is located on the Nura River (the Samarkand Reservoir), northwest of Karaganda. History The first groups of settlers to settle in the area were 40 families from Samara (see Stolypin reform), who settled on the left bank of the Nura River on 15 June 1905.
