	2009 Alps Tour The 2009 Alps Tour was the ninth season of the Alps Tour, one of four third-tier tours recognised by the European Tour. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2009 season. Unofficial events The following events were sanctioned by the Alps Tour, but did not carry official money, nor were wins official. Order of Merit The Order of Merit was based on prize money won during the season, calculated using a points-based system. The top five players on the tour (not otherwise exempt) earned status to play on the 2010 Challenge Tour. 	Marco Crespi Marco Crespi (born 5 November 1978) is an Italian professional golfer. Career Crespi was born in Monza, Italy. He turned professional in 2002. Crespi played on the Challenge Tour in 2006–09 and 2012–13. He was invited to the 2012 Telenet Trophy which he won to earn full membership of the Challenge Tour. He subsequently won the 2013 Mugello Tuscany Open. Crespi earned his 2014 European Tour card via qualifying school on his 11th attempt. He also earned his first European Tour win at the NH Collection Open and is the oldest rookie to win in European Tour history. By 2016, Crespi lost his European Tour card and was playing on the third tier Alps Tour, where he won in 2017. 	2010 Challenge Tour The 2010 Challenge Tour is a series of professional golf tournaments collectively known as the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental tour and is organised by the PGA European Tour. It was introduced in 1986 and was originally called the Satellite Tour, before being renamed with its present title in 1990. Schedule The following table lists official events during the 2010 season. Professional career Brooks turned professional in 2007 and spent his first three years as a professional playing on the PGA EuroPro Tour. 	Matthew Cryer (golfer) Matthew Henry Cryer (July 11, 1840 – August 12, 1921) was an American oral surgeon who is known for founding the first hospital based dental service in United States. The hospital was named Philadelphia General Hospital. He is also known for developing the electrically operated surgical engine for cutting bone and the spiral Osteotome and guard for cranial surgery. Life Cryer was born in Manchester, UK in 1840. He moved with his family to United States during his early years in childhood. Cryer started studying at Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery in 1874 and received his dental degree in two years. He also received his medical degree in 1877 from the same university. After his graduation, he taught at his learning institution about dentistry. 	Benjamin Hébert Benjamin Hébert (born 19 February 1987) is a French professional golfer. Early life Hébert was born in Brive, France. His parents are Jean-Luc, a former pentathlete, and Françoise, a former swimmer, both of whom now work as teachers. He also has one sister, Audrey.
