2008 Shimizu S-Pulse Season
The 2008 S-Pulse season was S-Pulse's seventeenth season in existence and their sixteenth season in the J1 League. The club also competed in the Emperor's Cup and the J.League Cup. Kenta Hasegawa
is a former Japanese football player and manager. He is the current head coach J1 League club of Nagoya Grampus. He played for the Japan national team. Club career Hasegawa was educated at and played for Shimizu Higashi High School. He won the national high school championship with his teammates including Katsumi Oenoki and Takumi Horiike. He continued his study and football at University of Tsukuba where he won the Kanto University League title in 1987. After graduating from the university in 1988, he joined Japan Soccer League side Nissan Motors (current Yokohama F. Marinos). Yohei Nishibe
is a Japanese football player who plays for Shimizu S-Pulse. Playing career Nishibe was born in Kobe on 1 December 1980. After graduating from high school, he joined J1 League club Urawa Reds in 1999. Reds was relegated to J2 League from 2000. Although he debuted against Kawasaki Frontale in 2000 J.League Cup on April 12, Reds lost 0–3. He debuted in J2 League on October 7 and played all last 7 matches in 2000 season after the debut. Akinori Nishizawa
is a Japanese former footballer who played as a forward. He played for Japan national team. Club career Nishizawa was born in Shizuoka on 18 June 1976. After graduating from Shimizu Higashi High School, he joined Cerezo Osaka in 1995. He moved to Spanish club Espanyol in December 2000. In July 2001, he moved to English club Bolton Wanderers. During his brief spell playing Bolton Wanderers, he is best remembered for scoring a dramatic late equaliser against Walsall in the League Cup.
