2007 International Fight League
The first full season of the International Fight League (IFL) was composed of 11 events (9 normal events, 1 semi-final event and 1 final championship event). Over the span of nine events each of the 12 IFL teams competed in 3 events each and the top four teams with the best records advanced to the semi-final event. After the semi-final event the top two teams met in the Championship event which took place at the Los Angeles Forum. The International Fight League was an American mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion billed as the world's first MMA league. Uncasville is a village in the town of Montville, Connecticut, United States. It is located in southeastern Montville, at the mouth of the Oxoboxo River where it flows into the Thames River. Jeff Curran (born September 2, 1977) is an American retired professional mixed martial artist. A professional competitor from 1998 to 2016, Curran fought at a number of different weight classes for a large number of promotions including Bellator, the UFC, Strikeforce, PRIDE Fighting Championships, WEC, IFL, the RFA, and KOTC. Background Curran started his path towards mixed martial arts with Karate and Tae Kwon Do when he was five years old. Curran has trained for 16 years and has fought for 5 years. The Vibrant Arena at The MARK, formerly known as The MARK of the Quad Cities, the iWireless Center, and the TaxSlayer Center, is a 12,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Moline, Illinois. Robert Glenn Lawler (born March 20, 1982) is an American former professional mixed martial artist who competed between 2001 and 2023.
