The 2006 Cleveland Browns season was the team’s 58th season as a professional sports franchise and its 54th season as a member of the National Football League (NFL). It began with the team attempting to improve upon their win–loss record from 2005 Cleveland Browns season, 2005, where the team ended the year at 6–10. They were one of the most active teams during the Free agent, free agency period, and looked to be one of the most improved teams of the season at the end of the NFL Draft. Kevin Carl Shaffer (born March 2, 1980) is a former American football offensive tackle. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round of the 2002 NFL draft. He played college football at Tulsa. Shaffer also played for the Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears. Willie McGinest
William Lee McGinest Jr. (born December 11, 1971) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for 15 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the New England Patriots. He played college football for the USC Trojans and was selected fourth overall by the Patriots in the 1994 NFL draft. A punter in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. This generally happens on a fourth down in American football and a third down in Canadian football.
