2005 RCA Championships
The 2005 RCA Championships was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 18th edition of the event known that year as the RCA Championships, and was part of the International Series of the 2005 ATP Tour. It took place at the Indianapolis Tennis Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, from July 18 through July 25, 2005. It was the first event of the 2005 US Open series. ATP International Series
The ATP International Series (known from 1990 to 1997 as the ATP World Series) was a series of professional tennis tournaments held internationally as part of the ATP Tour from 2000 to 2008. Indianapolis Tennis Center
The Indianapolis Tennis Center, originally known as the Indianapolis Sports Center, was a tennis stadium complex with additional outdoor and indoor tennis courts on the campus of Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in Indianapolis, Indiana. The stadium, which seated 10,000 spectators, was built in 1979. At that time it was the venue for the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships tournament. It was also the site of the tennis events for the 1987 Pan American Games. When originally constructed, the complex included 14 outdoor courts, all of which, including the stadium court, had a clay surface. Robert Louis Ginepri ( ; born October 7, 1982) is a retired American professional tennis player. He won three ATP singles titles in his career and achieved a career-high ranking of World No. 15 in December 2005. The Indianapolis Tennis Championships was an annual men's tennis tournament played in Indianapolis as part of the ATP Tour. Since its inaugural playing in 1987, the tournament was held for one week in July up until its final playing in 2009.
