MuchMusic
Much (an abbreviation for its full name MuchMusic) is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by BCE Inc. through its Bell Media subsidiary that airs programming aimed at teenagers and young adults. MuchMusic launched on August 31, 1984, under the ownership of CHUM Limited, and was originally focused on music programming, including blocks of music videos and original series focusing on Canadian musicians. In the years since its acquisition by Bell, Much has cancelled the majority of its music programming due to budget and staffing cuts. The channel's full name was retired in 2013 in reflection of its decreasing reliance on music-related programming. Death From Above 1979
Death from Above 1979 (also known as Death from Above) is a Canadian rock duo consisting of bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer and vocalist Sebastien Grainger from Toronto, Ontario, formed in 2001. The band released their debut album, ''You're a Woman, I'm a Machine'', in 2004 and broke up in 2006. They reformed in 2011 and released their second album, ''The Physical World'', in 2014. Since then the band has released 2 more albums, '' Outrage! Is Now'' in 2017 and '' Is 4 Lovers'' in 2021. "Rebellion (Lies)" is a song by Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire. It was the fourth single released from the band's debut album, '' Funeral''. The single was released in both CD and DVD formats with the song "Brazil" as the B-side. Amir Junaid Muhadith (born Chauncey Lamont Hawkins, on June 20, 1975), best known by his stage name Loon, is a retired American rapper best known for his association with Sean Combs's Bad Boy Records. He was featured artist on Combs's 2002 hits " I Need a Girl (Part One)" and "I Need a Girl (Part Two)". Career Chauncey Lamont Hawkins was born in Harlem, New York. Sheldon Pitt, better known by his stage name Solitair, is a Canadian rapper and record producer from Toronto, Ontario. He is a founding member of the now defunct Black Jays record label and production team. Solitair has been producing hip hop and R&B for nearly 20 years, and has produced for Nina Sky, Glenn Lewis, Cham, Maestro, Rascalz, Kardinal Offishall, Ivana Santilli, Jully Black, Choclair, and Sugar Jones among others. Kareem Blake (born March 27, 1975), better known by his stage name Choclair, is a Canadian rapper. He was one of the most successful Canadian rappers in Canada in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The Tea Party is a Canadian rock band with industrial rock, blues, progressive rock, and Middle Eastern music influences, dubbed " Moroccan roll" by the media.
