2004–05 Inter Milan Season
The 2004–05 season was Football Club Internazionale Milano's 96th in existence and 89th consecutive season in the top flight of Italian football. Season overview The summer of 2004 saw Inter choose a new coach, Roberto Mancini, coming from Lazio. Inter started the season qualifying for the Champions League group phase, but also collected many draws in the league. Inter, achieved better results in cups, made a comeback (3–2) in a match against Sampdoria, scoring all three goals in the last six minutes. The derby with Milan was lost 1–0, which broke a winning streak, in May 2004. the rivals also knocked Inter out of the Champions League, tournament in which – during the previous two-legs – Mancini's squad had been beaten by reigning champions Porto. Zé Maria (footballer, Born 1973)
José Marcelo Ferreira (born 25 July 1973), commonly known as Zé Maria, is a retired Brazilian football player turned coach. He is currently working as head coach of club Olbia. Known for his pin-point crosses, he could play either as a right back or right midfielder, and played the vast majority of his professional career, other than in his country, in Italy's Serie A, where he represented three teams, mainly Perugia. Club career Born in Oeiras, Piauí, Zé Maria started his professional career with Portuguesa in 1991, being loaned two times during his contract with the club. Siniša Mihajlović
Siniša Mihajlović ( sr-Cyrl, Синиша Михајловић, ; 20 February 1969 – 16 December 2022) was a Serbian football manager and professional footballer who played as a defender. Mihajlović had an illustrious playing career, winning the European Cup with Red Star Belgrade in 1991 before moving to Italy, making 353 appearances for Serie A sides Roma, Sampdoria, Lazio and Inter Milan and winning league titles with the latter two clubs. Considered by many to be among the best free kick takers of all time, he holds the all-time record in Serie A for most goals from free kicks with 28 goals. Javier Adelmar Zanetti (, ; born 10 August 1973) is an Argentine former professional footballer. Nicolás Andrés Burdisso (born 12 April 1981) is an Argentine football manager and former professional player who played as a centre back. Burdisso began his career with Boca Juniors. Here, he won Argentine Championships, three Copa Libertadores and two Intercontinental Cups. Iván Ramiro Córdoba Sepúlveda (, born 11 August 1976) is a Colombian former professional footballer who played as a defender. He began his career in Colombia with Deportivo Rionegro and Atlético Nacional, before moving to Argentine club San Lorenzo. Héctor Fabián Carini Hernández (born 26 December 1979 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played three seasons at Uruguayan club Danubio F.C before signing for Italian club Juventus in 2001.
