First Street ( Chinese: 第一街) is a street in Sai Ying Pun, an early suburb of Hong Kong. The street is part of the planned layout of the early development. High Street, Third Street, Second Street and First Street run east to west horizontally on a slope while Centre Street, Western Street and Eastern Street run north to south steeply. First Street runs one way from Eastern Street, crossing Centre Street and Western Street to Pok Fu Lam Road in the west. It is about 250 metres long. The northern side of the street has odd numbers and is on the lower side of the slope. Transport Vehicles can drive from east to west. Taxis frequent the street. Green mini bus route 45A has its terminus on the south side of the street between Centre and Western Streets. 1st Street is an east–west thoroughfare in Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, and Monterey Park, California. It serves as a postal divider between north and south and is one of a few streets to run across the Los Angeles River. Siglap is a neighbourhood located in Bedok in the East Region of Singapore. The area also encompasses the Frankel and Opera Estates and their names have sometimes been used interchangeably to refer to the approximate same area. The planning subzone area of Siglap as defined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is confusingly and inaccurately referred to as the small strip of land between Victoria Junior College and Bedok South Avenue 1. It is a residential area where a majority live in landed homes such as freehold semi-detached houses and bungalows. Some of the land parcels near Siglap Centre have been redeveloped into serviced apartments and condominiums. The few Housing and Development Board flats in Siglap have been demolished in 2015 under the Selective En bloc Redevelopment Scheme.
