The 1985 edition of Copa Libertadores was won by Argentinos Juniors, of Argentina for the first time, after defeating América of Colombia in a penalty shootout, following a playoff game after the two-legged final finished level. Asociación Atlética Argentinos Juniors is an Argentine sports club based in La Paternal, Buenos Aires. The club is mostly known for its football team, which currently plays in the Argentine Primera División, and was recognized as one of the most important football teams of South America by FIFA. Deportes Magallanes is a Chilean Football team based in San Bernardo, Chile. They will play in the Primera División de Chile starting from 2023 after winning the 2022 Primera B championship. The club was founded on October 27, 1897 with the name Atlético Escuela Normal F.C.. In 1933 they became the first national champions of Chile. They won a hat trick of titles in the formative years of Chilean football (1933, 1934 and 1935) but their last major title came in 1938. In 2022 they won the Primera B championship and promotion to the top tier having not competed since 1986, they also won the Copa Chile for the first time in the same year which meant they qualified for the 2022-23 Copa Libertadores. Jorge Olguín
Jorge Mario Olguín (born 17 May 1952 in Dolores, Buenos Aires) is a retired Argentine footballer who played as a defender. He is perhaps most famous for having been part of the 1978 World Cup winning team. Since his retirement as a player he has managed a number of football clubs. Playing career Mostly deployed as a centre back in club football, Olguín was positioned as a right back with the national team by coach César Luis Menotti. Among his achievements as a player there is one World Cup with the Argentina national football team, the Copa Libertadores, and six Argentine league titles. Antony William de Ávila Charris (born December 21, 1962) is a Colombian former soccer striker nicknamed ''El Pitufo'' ("The Smurf"), who last played for América de Cali. Club career De Ávila began his career with América de Cali in his native Colombia in 1982. He spent the majority of his career with the club, winning seven league titles with América, including five in a row from 1982 to 1986. Roberto Cabañas González (11 April 1961 – 9 January 2017) was a Paraguayan footballer who played as a forward. Career During his career, Cabañas played for Cerro Porteño of Paraguay, Stade Brestois and Olympique Lyonnais of France, the New York Cosmos (winning the 1980 and 1982 NASL championship and top scorer and NASL MVP in 1983), América de Cali of Colombia (helping the team in reaching three consecutive Copa Libertadores finals) and Boca Juniors of Argentina (winning the 1992 Apertura tournament and the 1992 Copa Master de Supercopa). Emilio Nicolás Commisso (born 5 November 1956 in Córdoba) is a former Argentine footballer. He played for a number of clubs in Argentina and Spain. Commisso started his professional career in 1976 with River Plate. During his seven years playing at the club, they won five league titles. Commisso played 218 league games for River, scoring 27 goals. In 1984, he joined Argentinos Juniors, he played for the club during their golden age, winning two league titles the Copa Libertadores 1985 and the Copa Interamericana, they also played in the Copa Intercontinental against Juventus of Italy. Ricardo Alberto Gareca Nardi (; born 10 February 1958), nicknamed ''el Tigre'' and ''el Flaco'' ("Tiger " and "Slim"), is an Argentine football manager and former player.
