1981–82 Divizia B
The 1981–82 Divizia B was the 42nd season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to three series, each of them having 18 teams. At the end of the season the winners of the series promoted to Divizia A and the last four places from each series relegated to Divizia C. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07. It is currently sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. The teams placed from 7th to 12th will play a relegation play-off, where the last two teams are relegated to Liga III. FC Drobeta-Turnu Severin
FC Drobeta-Turnu Severin was a Romanian professional football club from Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Mehedinți County, Romania, founded in 1958 and dissolved in 2011. History ''FC Drobeta-Turnu Severin'' was never able to reach the Liga I, playing all of its history in the Liga II and the Liga III. In ''1958'', Drobeta Turnu Severin was founded, after it took the place of CFR Turnu Severin in the Divizia C. In 1959 the club changes its name to Metalul Turnu Severin. In ''1976'', after ''Metalul'' relegated from the Divizia C to the Divizia D, at the end of the 1974–75 season, it merged with ''Meva'' and formed a new club named CSM Drobeta-Turnu Severin. The Liga 3, most often spelled as Liga III, is the third level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia C to Liga III before the start of the 2006–07 season.
