1969 CONCACAF Championship
The 1969 CONCACAF Championship was the fourth edition of the CONCACAF Championship, the football championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). The tournament was held between 23 November to 8 December. Six teams participated in the tournament. The event was hosted by Costa Rica in the city of San José. Seven teams qualified, but Haiti's disqualification left six teams to play in the round-robin format to determine the winner. The tournament was won by the host nation, for the second time after 1963, by tying defending champions Guatemala 1–1 in the deciding final match. Everald Cummings
Everald "Gally" Cummings (born 28 August 1948 in Trinidad and Tobago) is a former football midfielder who played for six years in the North American Soccer League. He also played professionally in Mexico. He was a mainstay of the Trinidad and Tobago national team in the 1960s and 1970s and later became the national team coach of Trinidad and Tobago in the 1980s during the ''Strike Squad'' years. The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) is the governing body of football in Trinidad and Tobago. It is based in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Hensley Filemon Acasio Meulens (; born June 23, 1967), nicknamed "Bam Bam", is a Curaçaoan professional baseball coach and retired player. He is the hitting coach for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball (MLB). A native of Curaçao, he played from to in MLB, Nippon Professional Baseball, and the KBO League. Daniel Domingo Salamanca Urey (8 July 1869 – 17 July 1935) was a Bolivian politician who served as the 33rd president of Bolivia from 1931 to 1934 until he was overthrown in a ''coup d'état'' on November 27, 1934, during the country's disastrous Chaco War with Paraguay.
